The mission of the Van Buren Fine Arts Center is to promote arts education for the students of the Van Buren School District by providing a safe, technically proficient venue. It also serve as a resource for the community and contributes to the cultural vitality of the city of Van Buren and its surrounding areas.
The VBFAC was established in 2009 is a non-profit organization, working to promote the arts though arts education and providing our community with opportunities to experience culture and the arts, through its programming. The VBFAC also supports the needs of the Van Buren School Districts educational programming, which includes the Band, Choir, and Theatre programs.
VBFAC is made up of 2 full time staff members and 13 board members.
The Van Buren Fine Arts Center facility is a division of the Van Buren School District. The VBFAC includes a full performance stage, 1460 seats, A/V booth, dressing rooms, dry storage, laundry room, scene shop, box office and visual art gallery,
